Projects

AliJamil.com is a personal portfolio website meticulously crafted by myself over a period of seven months. This site has undergone several conceptual evolutions, with the first version (v1) drawing inspiration from the aesthetic and thematic elements of the popular music album 'Positions'.

  1. Palate - a cutting-edge culinary app and capstone group's flagship product, revolutionizes cooking experiences for chefs and food enthusiasts alike.

  2. JCU Code Obfuscator - a .NET and C# project that combines data anonymization techniques with secure storage of login credentials and PII in a mySQL database.

  3. GLD ePortfolio - this ePortfolio required for USC's Graduation with Leadership Distinction highlights concepts I've learned in the classroom and how I've applied them beyond the classroom during my collegiate years. Includes a Leadership section, where I detail an approach to mitigating racial bias in AI/ML systems, especially FRT.

The JCU's data anonymization system is a project built by me using C#, .NET and mySQL demonstrating secure data storage practices in a database. It encrypts user-inputted information, ensuring an impenetrable shield of protection in both online and offline databases. This program demonstrates code obfuscaton at a database level, setting a new standard in data protection and privacy.

Required for USC's Graduation with Leadership Distinction Professional & Civic Engagement pathway is the ePortfolio. Highlighting concepts I've learned in the classroom and how I applied them beyond to my everyday life during my collegiate years, this project brought forth depe introspection in how the technical skills I've honed impacted me. The portfolio includes a Leadership section, where I detail an approach to mitigating racial bias in AI/ML systems, especially FRT, and outline my goal to introduce equal instead of equitable AI systems through project management. Built in HTML/CSS.
